  • Martha cheats in the egg-and-spoon race and gets disqualified, and therefore Noddy wins.
  • It would have been a lot smarter for Noddy to have just agreed to enter the three-legged race with Master Tubby than Bumpy Dog, and then Martha could have easily entered the three legged race with Bert Monkey.
  • The ending of this episode, where Mr. Plod declares Noddy as the champion of the sports day, is used as part of the 1998-2005 promo for ABC for Kids.
