The Great Golf Gamble is an Episode of The Wind in the Willows. It first aired on March 4, 1986 and repeated on September 3, 1987.

Toad gives up on playing croquet after losing a game with Badger and discovers a new exciting pastime: Golf. Firmly convinced that he is a natural champion, he agrees to a match with the Chief Weasel, for rather high stakes – if Toad loses, the Chief takes Toad Hall. Badger, as usual, despairs at Toad’s rash decision and silliness, but may yet be able to save the situation.
